My teaching is based on two foundational elements: fundamentals and joy. The better students are at the basics, the easier it will be for them to make any piece their own. The more ownership one has over a piece, the more fun it is to perform.

I have been playing guitar since I was six years old. Since my first grade talent show, I have performed solo, with vocalists, with my fifth grade cover band, with violinists, and more. I have performed several times at Merkin Hall in the Lincoln Center, at a guitar festival in the Italian countryside, Portugal, and Thailand. I attended the Juilliard Pre-College from 2020-2022, and am a member of the Special Music School class of 2024.
